Caring for Your House of Arié Raw Indian Hair

Before Installation

To achieve the best results:

  • Carefully inspect each bundle before installation.
  • Wash and condition the hair prior to your install.
  • Allow the hair to air dry completely.
  • Have your extensions installed by a licensed stylist whenever possible.
  • We recommend sealing the wefts if desired to further reduce natural shedding.

Washing Your Hair

Wash your extensions every 2–3 weeks, or whenever product buildup occurs.

Step 1

Thoroughly detangle the hair using a wide-tooth comb or extension brush, beginning at the ends and working upward.

Step 2

Saturate the hair with lukewarm water.

Step 3

Cleanse using a moisturizing, sulfate-free shampoo.

Always shampoo in a downward motion to preserve the cuticle alignment.

Never scrub, twist, or pile the hair together.

Step 4

Rinse thoroughly.

Step 5

Apply a moisturizing conditioner from mid-length to ends.

Allow it to sit for 5–10 minutes before rinsing completely.

Deep Conditioning

Raw Indian hair loves moisture.

Deep condition every 2–4 weeks using a hydrating mask.

Leave the treatment on for 15–30 minutes before rinsing.

If your extensions begin feeling dry, simply increase your deep conditioning routine.

Drying

After washing:

  • Gently squeeze excess water from the hair.
  • Pat dry with a microfiber towel.
  • Allow the hair to air dry whenever possible.
  • If blow drying, always use a heat protectant.

Avoid rubbing the hair with a towel.

Heat Styling

Our Raw Indian Hair can be:

  • Curled
  • Straightened
  • Blow dried
  • Restyled

just like your own natural hair.

To maintain longevity:

  • Always apply a heat protectant.
  • Keep styling tools below 400°F (204°C).
  • Avoid excessive daily heat styling.

Sleeping

Before bed:

  • Brush the hair thoroughly.
  • Loosely braid or wrap the hair.
  • Sleep with a silk or satin bonnet, scarf, or pillowcase.

This helps prevent tangling, dryness, and unnecessary friction.

Swimming

Before swimming:

  • Wet the hair with clean water.
  • Apply a lightweight leave-in conditioner.

After swimming:

  • Rinse immediately.
  • Shampoo and condition as soon as possible to remove chlorine or salt.

Coloring & Bleaching

Because our hair is 100% Raw Indian Human Hair, it can be professionally colored or toned.

We strongly recommend:

  • Using an experienced color specialist.
  • Performing strand tests before coloring.
  • Limiting bleach services whenever possible.

Improper chemical processing may permanently alter the integrity of the hair and is not covered under our quality guarantee.

Daily Maintenance

For everyday wear:

  • Brush gently beginning from the ends.
  • Use lightweight serums sparingly.
  • Avoid heavy oils near the wefts.
  • Keep the hair moisturized without oversaturating it.

Storage

When not wearing your extensions:

  • Ensure the hair is completely dry.
  • Brush thoroughly.
